A Department of Aging update from AARP PA E-News for July 2010:
The PA Department of Aging website recently launched an online directory of adult day services centers. The directory allows consumers to locate some 250 centers by county and review the most recent state inspection reports for each facility.
Reviewing the web site should be part of a comprehensive plan for selecting an appropriate adult day center. For example, choosing an appropriate center should always include a personal visit, since offerings may vary from center to center.
