The 2010 Citiparks Summer Magazine is now available and Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh’s Library for the Blind and Handicapped (LBPH) has produced a free audio version of the 60-page booklet. Citiparks Summer Magazine contains information about summer events and activities such as community festivals, sports competitions, summer camps, free movie screenings, and outdoor concerts. It also provides city facility and parks information. The LBPH audio version of the Citiparks Summer Magazine is available in several formats: cassette tape and digital cartridge versions for library customers who are registered with LBPH, and disposable CDs for all others. An MP3 version can be downloaded from the News Page on the LBPH website. For more information about the audio recording, call LBPH at 412-687-2440 or e-mail the library at lbph@carnegielibrary.org.
Free print copies of Citiparks Summer magazine can be found at various locations throughout the city: Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh branches, Citiparks facilities, the City-County Building, the VisitPittsburgh welcome center and the Schenley Park Visitor Center.
