The PA Dietetic Association Foundation (PADAF) has been working with libraries across the state on a variety of fun programs and projects. March is National Nutrition Month.
  • Looking for great books on nutrition: Check out the ADA’s Good Nutrition Reading List.
  • Learn more about PADAF library projects: Visit here.
  • Learn more about downloadable handouts: Visit here and scroll to the end of the page for "Display Materials" and "Downloadable Handouts".
  • Create a display in March for National Nutrition Month: Contact Jan Little for a connection with a local registered dietitian, dietetic technician, registered or student(s) in dietetics. (All are members of the PA Dietetic Association.)
  • Invite a local registered dietitian to visit for a special program: Contact Jan Little.
Jan Little is able to connect you with a local dietitian for several programs including in PADAF’s Make Time for Health © (MTFH) and Strong Bones © (SB), and a variety of other topics in food, nutrition and health. Presentations last approximately 45 minutes and include handouts. MTFH and SB were developed for parents/caretakers of elementary school age children but can be adapted for any audience.

Programs are geared for an audience of 10 or more. Speakers appreciate an honorarium to help cover their time, supplies and travels. There is more information about these programs see the attached documents and request form. Also, visit the PADAF’s Make Time for Health.
